Patchwork Abstract Framed Fused Glass Dichroic Picture Handmade Gift

Description A fused glass picture. A rather wonderful piece of fused glass art which you can hang on a hook on a wall or if you prefer to display it standing on a surface. Note it does need a little support to stand but is more than happy leaning  slightly against something. It is also equally happy whichever way you want to hang it so you can turn it round if you want a change. Made from Bullseye glass, handcut, shaped, layered and decorated with a random abstract patchwork design.I’ve used all sorts of colours to form the picture and the overall effect is absolutely vibrant. The design is finished with lots of precious dichroic clear glass to give shimmers throughout the picture. Underneath the patchwork is a base layer of clear Bullseye fusing glass. Once fused in my kiln for about 12 hours it all melts together into a shiny smooth finish. The fused picture measures 12cm and is fitted at the back of a box frame with a 13.5 aperture, 18cm square frame, 3.5cm deep. I have removed the glass from the front of the box frame as it will always reflect the light and detract from the lovely picture which is very shiny Please note that this picture is one of a kind. The abstract arrangement of glass is unrepeatable. Any repeat of this design will be entirely different as no two pictures I make are ever the same.
