Description heart, a Patchwork, a Rainbow all combined together into a rather beautiful fused glass picture which you can hang on a hook on a wall or if you prefer display it standing on a surface. Note it does need some support to stand but is more than happy leaning slightly against something. Made from Bullseye glass, handcut, shaped, layered and decorated with a unique patchwork design in rainbow colours with each segment of patchwork finished with a little piece of luxurious dichroic glass to make the picture extra special. The fused heart measures 13cm x 10cm and is fitted at the back of a box frame with a 13.5 aperture, 15cm square frame, 3.5cm deep. I have removed the glass from the front of the box frame as it will always reflect the light and detract from the lovely heart which is very shiny The heart comprises 16 different shaped pieces of glass, carefully chosen to go twice round the rainbow. These are placed on top of a heart cut from clear bullseye fusing glass. Then a little piece of dichroic glass is added to each segment and it is fired in my kiln until red hot. This fuses it together into a very shiny single heart shape. The 3rd photo shows the heart unframed. Please note that no two hearts I make are ever the same.
