Blue Steampunk ring dish – Hexagonal ceramic tray with MacBook circuit board pattern – small stoneware tray

A very versatile stoneware small trinket dish, ideal father’s day gift for geeky dads! Food safe, so can be used as a small serving dish for nuts, raisins etc. All the steampunk inspired dishes are similar in shape, size and colour, but with variable patterns. I never make the exact same pattern twice, each is unique. Approx size: 8.5×9.5 cm / 3.4″ x 3.8″ – 2 cm / 0.8″ height Microwave and dishwasher safe, but prefers limited use for extra durability. Other sizes available. Process: I used parts from my old Apple MacBook to imprint the pattern on a slab of clay. I stained it with cobalt oxide and applied transparent and antic gold glazes before firing it to 1200°C.
