Description A versatile stoneware trinket dish, ideal father’s day gift for geeky dads! Food safe, so can be used as a small serving dish for nuts, raisins etc, or use for loose change, keys or sweets/candy. Stamped with the words ‘bits n bobs’ and various industrial items: computer components, cogs, screws and bits I don’t even know what they are! Approx size: 13.5×15.5 cm / 5.5″ x 6.2″ – 2 cm / 0.8″ height Microwave and dishwasher safe, but prefers limited use for extra durability. Process: I used parts from my old Apple MacBook to imprint the pattern on a slab of clay. After bisque firing at 1040°C I stained it with cobalt oxide and applied transparent and antic gold glazes before putting it back in the kiln, this time at 1200°C. Et voilà!
